About Ronnie Battista

Ronnie leads the User Experience practice at Slalom Consulting in NYC. He has previously held UX Leadership roles at MISI Company (an NTT Data Company), Gextech, D&B and Accenture, where he built and led Accenture's Innovation Center User Experience Labs practice. Ronnie co-created the Rutgers Mini-Masters in User Experience Design course, where he serves as Program Director and Adjunct Professor. A past President of the UPA New Jersey Chapter, Ronnie now serves on the Board of Directors for UPA-I (Usability Professionals Association International) as Treasurer and Director of Certification.

Ronnie has provided UX leadership and management to over 100 global clients, working across all major industries, communication channels and development phases for such diverse clients as AT&T, Verizon, AOL, DTCC, Toyota, Astra Zeneca, BOC gases, Hoovers, AIG, British Airways, KPMG, Best Buy, Merck, MTV, DuPont, Comcast, NYC.gov, TimeWarner and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Ronnie is a frequent international speaker on the topic of UX with recent presentations in Germany, India, Russia and Mexico. 

He received an MA with Distinction in Public Administration and Public Policy from University of York (UK) and a BA with Honors in Political Science and Philosophy from Rutgers College.
